Some peculiar images of Rome: Roman Forum, Arch of Tito, Trevi Fountain

The Italian Organizing Committee has the honour to invite you to attend the XIII Congress of the Mediterranean Phytopathological Union held in Rome, Italy between June 20 and 25, 2010.

The Conference is dedicated to the different fields of plant pathology, including control strategies. The different sessions of the congress will cover applied and basic research and provide an opportunity for plant pathologists coming from different Mediterranean Countries to exchange knowledge, to develop co-operative research, renew old acquaintances and make new ones.

The Conference will be held in Rome which is considered a living museum of history with ancient monuments and medieval and Renaissance buildings and fountains.

A special meeting tour is planned at the end of the scientific sessions which will include a trip through some lovely areas located near Rome as well as a conference dinner.

The first announcement is made available on the conference web site. Registrations, abstract submissions, hotel bookings and other arrangements will be accepted on–line through this web site. Therefore, it will be updated regularly to bring you further details about scientific and social programs, travel, accommodation and other news. We look forward to welcoming you in Rome Italy in June 2010.
